With compassion, you find happiness, with happiness, you discover who you are.

13th April 2011

With compassion, you find happiness, with happiness, you discover who you are.

Have you ever truly been happy? If you have, you will know it's a truly unnerving experience, I say experience, because that's what it is, exactly that, an experience, its fleeting by nature because of our own strides towards everlasting happiness which negate from that moment when we achieve it.

The Dalai Lama says these very profound words "Every single being, even those who are hostile to us, is just as afraid of suffering as we are, and seeks happiness in the same way we do. Every person has the same right as we do to be happy and not to suffer. So let's take care of others wholeheartedly, of both our friends and our enemies. This is the basis for true compassion."

With compassion, you find happiness, with happiness, you discover who you are. The message is simple, when you find a moment of happiness, because thats all it will be, hold on to it, embrace it, and try to remember those vibes you got from it.
