Wipe out the persistence of ego

Ego is an ugly selfish thing, that is only to common place in the World today, you see it everywhere, even when making a purchase at a store where simple transactions should have no place for such an enemy.

Tenzin Gyatso says that the persistence of ego is the number one enemy of compassion, to truly be free you have to let go of all of your vices that breed your ego and misinformed self confidence and concentrate on compassion, bringing compassion and love towards your fellow man, try your hardest to forgive and forget.

I personally believe forgiveness in some situations is near impossible, as I have adapted Buddhism in my life, compassion I understand needs to be taught, and nurtured, you have to be true to yourself and those around you. If you cannot be compassionate then you need to try harder, and not involve yourself with people on such a level where your ego inflates and you breed the inner enemy.

I hope in time I will look back on these posts and tap into my way of thinking now, and hope work towards making my future self a much more open minded and reasonable one.Compassion Buddha
