I thought it would be a good idea to launch a blog with the site given the amount users wish to be interactive, this also allows us to provide feedback about how we are expanding the website.
A little about myself, my name is Stuart, and I have recently come to Buddhism, and wanted to embrace it in the best way possible. Converting from an atheist to a Buddhist was not an undertaking I took lightly. I was first introduced to Buddhism in 2008 while travelling around Southern Asia, I started out by travelling with a friend but both of our desires for different horizons split our paths and we both travelled solo. I remember, with this brought an apparent amount of free time which I used to read and study, that's when I encountered Buddhism.
It has taken me around 2 years of gently gathering information, life experiences and understanding myself before I have officially allowed myself to convert over to Theravada Buddhism. I will be using this website to impart wisdom I find on my own journey of discovery along with providing useful resource to existing, new and veteran Buddhists from around the World.
Please bare with me if I seem naive at time, it is all a learning curve for me.
