The Dalai Lama has said that the death of Osama bin Laden was justified which is something to dissect for certain.
As the leader of Tibetan Buddhism, the 14th Dalai Lama says he practices compassion to such an extent that he tries to avoid swatting mosquitoes "when my mood is good and there is no danger of malaria," sometimes watching with interest as they swell with his blood. The Dalia Lama said "Forgiveness doesn't mean forget what happened… If something is serious and it is necessary to take counter-measures, you have to take counter-measures."
I believe, with the Dalai Lama justifying the killing of one of the World’s most wanted men, comes several variables to how he arrived at the point. And the principle of Karma will be one which heavily influences. If you live your life a certain way where you place harm, and death upon others, then you are going to considerably reduce the quality and length of your own life. Murder cannot be tolerated, and people who murder should be rid from the World for the good of all mankind.
If all variables that Governments and the media report are true, then Osama bin Laden was the author of his own death, and those who ran in the same circles. No man, women, child, animal or insect could defend such a horrible creation that was bin Laden. May his victims rest in peace and the ones left behind find some peace in the fact that this beast has been destroyed and disregarded in such a way that he cannot have a shrine made out of him.
